Gerald Brady, Founder & CEO
Gerald (Gerry) founded Longbow Advantage in 2002 and continues to lead the company as CEO. Under his leadership, Longbow Advantage has grown to be one of North America’s top WMS and supply chain solution providers.
With over 25 years of experience in logistics, systems development, and implementation, Gerry’s technical knowledge and operational experience in warehouse and transportation management, along with his familiarity with JDA/RedPrairie’s suite of products have come together to form Longbow Advantage.
Before making the leap to consulting, Gerry had spent over 11 years developing a deep understanding of RedPrairie products and managing complex logistics and technology projects. He had held several senior management positions in transportation and warehousing, and most recently he was VP of Information Technology for a large Third Party Logistics company.
Gerry’s deep knowledge and passion for optimizing the supply chain also led him to identify a gap in the industry and build a team to create a new analytics solution specifically built for supply chain, Rebus Analytics Platform.
Albert Furtado, President & Chief Operating Officer
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Albert, is responsible for designing and implementing business plans, procedures, and strategies as well as overseeing the sustainable growth of Longbow Advantage.
Albert has more than 20 years of supply chain experience in operations, systems, and project management including positions with tier one organizations like Old Navy, Bi-Way, Wal-Mart(SCM), Loblaw’s, Future Shop and Dylex. Most recently, Albert was at 3PL Metro Canada Logistics, where he was responsible for RedPrairie implementations and upgrades.
Albert’s expertise in supply chain led him to Longbow Advantage as Vice President of Client Services where he provided excellent service and leadership along with valuable insights to help build the business and provide the high standard of client services Longbow is known for. His remarkable work in that role, contributed to his current role where he continues to uphold the values of Longbow Advantage.
Alex Wakefield, Chief Commercial Officer
As Chief Commercial Officer, Alex is responsible for all sales and marketing operations, partner and pricing strategy as well as provide guidance on product development.
Alex has over 20 years of sales and operational leadership experience in supply chain and technology roles, and has held executive positions as both a supply chain practitioner and technology provider. In his operational roles in the US Navy and at IBM, Alex managed global transportation, trade compliance and has led the design and creation of cutting edge logistics processes that deliver big results. He has also led sales organizations at JDA (RedPrairie) and McCollister’s Transportation focusing on strengthening his customers’ logistics network and performance while driving growth for his organization.
Alex places a high premium on identifying and developing talent. Throughout his career, he has focused on building high performance teams to support customers across all aspects of the supply chain.
