Job Purpose:

In this role, you will assist in configuring and delivering critical business functions for Longbow clients. In addition, you’ll be documenting business requirements and process, application configuration and other duties as assigned.  

You should have an analytical mind and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential as You will support every phase of LBA's implementation lifecycle. 



  • Provide product consulting, transfer of knowledge to client team
  • Assist with configuration of solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Assist with RF device, printer, and other device configuration and support as needed
  • Assist client team members through all phases of the implementation
  • Assist project team to manage client expectations to accomplish project success
  • Meet with customers and LBA team members to consult, configure, implement and support client requirements
  • Assist in assessing customer business needs & design and configure appropriate solution document “as is” and “to be” processes 
  • Assist customers with testing, as appropriate based on the RedPrairie/JDA solution being deployed 
  • Assist in the development of enhancement specifications for custom development 
  • Creates or obtains test scripts to validate functionality against design requirements to ensure customer expectations are fulfilled. 
  • Documents testing results and reports bugs, fixes, or changes required to Systems Analyst. 
  • Ensures a suitable test environment and supporting data is available, prepared, and scheduled for functional testing. 
  • Assist in functional end-user training 
  • Provide go-live operations support 
  • Guide business users on the operation of the application and the administration of business processes, reference data, etc. 
  • Follow LBA's implementation methodology, policies, and procedures including but not limited to: 
    • ​Initiates tasks in Jira for reporting and time tracking.
      Maintain professional interaction with customers and LBA team members
    • Complete accurate daily time entries and descriptions in JIRA
    • Provide timely/accurate updates on project activities
    • Adhere to all Longbow Policies and Procedures
  • Other job-related duties as assigned 


Key Job Description Requirements:

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Business/Supply Chain/Operations/Computer/Software Engineering or related degree
  • Experience in an operational setting or relevant discipline
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly with regard to anticipating and solving problems, issues, or concerns before they occur or become critical 
  • Able & willing to travel up to 50%
  • Expertise in JDA/Red Prairie or other Supply Chain Software systems (e.g., WMS, WFM, TMS) both as functional and technical analyst is highly desirable
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport


Key Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience in documenting process flows and operational procedures 
  • Knowledge with C/C++, C# and Java programming languages
  • Operating systems – Windows and UNIX
  • XML/HTML, MOCA, Python/Perl, Visual Studio/Visual basic
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio
