Sun Products is based in Wilton, Connecticut. They are a leading supplier of laundry and dish detergents, fabric softeners and other household cleaning products. Sun Products used an external provider to host the JDA WMS systems for 5 of its distribution centers in the United States.
When Sun Products had the opportunity to reduce their hosting costs by switching to another provider, they decided to switch providers. This meant that data from the old hosting environment had to be migrated to the new hosting environment.
To mitigate the inherent risk of data migration, Longbow has taken a « one-size-fits-all » approach for JDAA WMS installations. Longbow completed the project in just over 4 months, which was ahead of schedule, and they also came in under budget.
